My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative aspects. The location was superb, allowing me to easily walk to the beach, pier, and many places in Santa Monica, making me feel like I was in an oasis. However, I was not impressed with the noisy outdoor bar below the rooms, especially on weekends. The service, led by Mark and Garrick, exceeded my expectations, but the additional charges for parking and limited staff in the lobby lounge were drawbacks.

However, I could still enjoy great sunsets and avoid the noise from the bar/restaurant at the hotel's entrance late at night. The thermostat was not accurate to the set temperature, and the useless android tablet in the room was more of a nuisance than a benefit.

Staying at this hotel was a real treat! The rooms are gorgeous with a view of the ocean and Santa Monica Pier, and the property offers beautiful fresh large rooms with patios on the Malibu side around the pool. The on-site restaurant was good, and it was completely quiet even though on the first floor near the entrance. However, pool and beach view rooms are recommended due to noisy roads.
